AC Shadows Unveils Surprising Attack on Titan Collaboration for Thanksgiving

In a surprising crossover event that challenges traditional expectations, Ubisoft has unveiled an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Questline Revealed

According to the authorized release, "A strange encounter draws characters Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where rumors of forbidden practices and fearsome transformations resonate through the obscurity." The plot presents a "oddly dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a key location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a clandestine sect.

The adventure centers on "bizarre trials and a terrifying adversary" and is accessible to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Iconic Places and Changes

The teaser features the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through generations. The trailer finishes with a dramatic scene showing a character, likely the hostage, changing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Prizes and Bonus Material

Players who finish the mission will receive an special katana in addition to several items hidden throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also includes purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
