The Seattle Seahawks engineered a stunning comeback to overcome the Rams in overtime, clinching their spot in the postseason.
Rallying from a sixteen-point hole in the final period, the Seattle squad triumphed 38-37 at home, notching their fifth consecutive victory.
While the Los Angeles had become the first to earn a post-season berth earlier on Sunday, the Seahawks booked their return to the play-offs after a two-year absence.
With this result, the Seattle now lead their division's race with a twelve and three mark, supplanting the Rams, who dropped to the fifth seed with an 11-4 standing.

Quarterback Sam Darnold had two picks but regrouped to make two touchdown passes, including the tying TD to star receiver Smith-Njigba in overtime.
The visitors held a six-point advantage at the break before Walker burst through for a long scoring dash for the home side.
Rams cornerback Wallace then returned Darnold's first pick for a big return, leading to a short score by Blake Corum on the ensuing snap.
In the fourth quarter, a touchdown from Stafford to Puka Nacua pushed the Rams' lead to sixteen points, but Rashid Shaheed ignited the comeback with a 58-yard return for a score.
Darnold then found Barner in the endzone, and a successful conversion forced the contest into overtime.
Although Nacua scored for his another touchdown in overtime, Smith-Njigba answered in kind to setup the decisive score.
